How do your prices compare with the competition?
We are an Abbey Carpet franchise. An independently owned business that is part of an 850 store flooring specialty group. We will out service the competition at a better price.
Is your installation guaranteed?
All of our installers are very qualified and knowledgeable of the products they install. Abbey Carpet and Tile guarantees all workmanship for as long as you own your home.
How long have you been in business?
We have had the same ownership since 1982 and are Gold Star Certified with the Better Business Bureau.
What is your best carpet?
There are many factors that are involved in determining the quality of a carpet. Fiber type, yarn twist, soil and stain treatment, dying technique, yarn weight and backing are all features that determine the performance of a carpet.
Do you charge for estimates?
We do not charge for measuring and bidding your job. When we agree on a price that price will never increase.
Will a good pad make up for a cheaper carpet?
The performance of all carpets is directly determined by the quality of the cushion.
Should I buy wood or laminate flooring?
Wood flooring is the most luxurious hard surface product we sell. It is also the softest even in the hardest species. Laminate is several times more durable than wood and in the better qualities it is very difficult to differentiate between the two.
Is there a difference in the quality of ceramic floor tile?
Porcelain tile is the standard by which all other tiles are measured. The composition of porcelain tile is completely different than ceramic; created from higher quality materials, porcelain tiles are much denser. Porcelain tiles are fired longer and hotter than ceramic, creating an impervious surface that allows less than half of a percent water absorption.
